Know an Outstanding Douglas County Teacher?

Nominations are now being accepted!

Murphy Law Firm, LLC is giving away 9 Teacher Awards this school year to deserving teachers in Douglas County.

You and your child can nominate his or her current Douglas County teacher for the prestigious “Teacher of the Month” award. The teacher will receive a prize, and your child will be invited to a FREE pizza party, courtesy of Murphy Law Firm.

One teacher will be selected per month from the previous month’s nominations. Contest will run September 2015 – May 2016. Nominations are being accepted starting in August.

** Contest Rules ** (PLEASE READ):

  1. Your child must be a student at a Douglas County school, and be 5-18 years-old.
  2. Student must have parental permission to make a nomination.
  3. The principal of the school must give permission to Murphy Law Firm to enter school premises, throw a pizza party, and give an award to the winning teacher. If the principle does not agree to any of the above, another teacher must be selected.
  4. Parents must give permission to Murphy Law Firm to photograph or videotape their child’s nomination in order for us to make a special memento for the teacher.
